suhuf is a plain reader for three scriptures — the Qur'an, the Bible and the Tanakh — built for reading and for searching. No ads, no charge, no account required; the text as it is, without commentary.

Why
- Ad-free and permanently non-commercial: the licences of the texts require it, and so do we.
- Usable without an account. Notes and bookmarks stay on your device; signing in is only for syncing between devices.
- Works offline. Once a translation is downloaded, reading and basic search keep working without a connection.
- The text is never altered. Every edition is stored exactly as its source publishes it; folding for search lives in a separate field.
- Scripture only. No commentary, hadith or Talmud; notes that ship with a text are kept apart from it.
Texts and licences
The source and licence of every edition is listed on each reader's "About" page and in the data licence file in the repository. The code is MIT; the generated corpus is CC BY-NC-SA 4.0, as its sources require. Data licence
